AQUAMATIC is a family owned and operated business. We are licenced and insured Wastewater Specialists and Electrician's.
When a failure occurs with your wastewater/septic system, it can be a challenging situation, contacting the correct industry experts is essential.
You may think you need a plumber, electrician or an excavation contractor to resolve your issue, unfortunately more often than not, the repair or replacement is incorrectly executed. This is not to discredit the above trades, only a fact. We specialize in the wastewater/septic system industry only.
As industry experts, we have the correct equipment, materials, and expertise to accurately diagnose, repair, replace, design, and install all of your wastewater/septic system related items, both mechanically and electrically and for all residential/commercial properties.
Common onsite sewage system failures:
1. Toilets not draining.
2. Liquid coming out of lower-level (basement) drains.
3. Liquid overflowing from an interior sewage pump chamber, exterior septic or pump tank, etc.
4. High-level liquid alarm.
5. Pump controller alarming.
6. Wet areas on a lawn (ponding/breakout or foul odour).
The above failures can be caused by multiple factors. A failed drain-field, blockage, sewage/effluent pump, float (switch), pump controller, etc.
Don't panic, AQUAMATIC is here to help!
General information for septic tank pumping:
We receive multiple calls daily for pumping. During these calls and prior to referring to a local pumping contractor (we are a service/repair company only), one of our questions, "is this general maintenance or are you experiencing a problem". A common response, "our tank is full, or our alarm is going off and we need a pump out". Our response is always the same, "septic tanks are always full" (as long as the liquid level is below the inlet and outlet pipes), (if an effluent filter has been installed, the filter may need to be removed and cleaned), and "if an alarm is going off, you don't need a pump out for this alarm condition, the alarm is identifying a high-level liquid issue within the pump tank" (alarms are not used with septic tanks, unless it's a holding tank). Failed pumps, switches (floats), electrical/controller damage/malfunctions or interior tank plumbing failures are 99% of the time, the cause of the alarms.
General rule for tank pumping:
Every 3-5 years, but this can vary depending on usage.
